Tissue obtained from microdissection. The tissue is cut with a microtome and unstained slides are obtained. These slides are deparaffinized (Table 1). The pathologist can choose the malignant cells and extracts the tissue with a blade under microscopy. For example, the whole slide in the first level, only glandular malignant cells in the second level. The third level has benign glandular cells. Therefore, only the tissue from first and second levels are sent for molecular analysis
